In a unexpected partnership that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "A strange confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes echo through the shadows." The narrative features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden sect.

The mission centers on "strange experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an special katana alongside several objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
